Farhan Shafi is an associate with Mohammed Al Ruqaishi Law Firm. Prior to joining the firm, Farhan gained work experience with leading law firms in Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates. He focuses on both contentious and non-contentious matters. He has experience in working on arbitration matters in Pakistan and with international institutional arbitration such as International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), and the Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC). His experience with commercial transactions includes working on joint ventures, agency agreements, share transfers, investment transactions and shareholding arrangements. Farhan also routinely advises numerous technology companies and emerging startups in their legal matters, including regulatory and intellectual property matters. Farhan is admitted to practice in Pakistan and has remained the Additional General Secretary of the Lahore High Court Bar Association’s International Legal Affairs Committee. During law school, he also co-founded a leading legal literacy initiative and remained an editorial team member of a leading legal publication. He holds a LL.B., with honours from the University of London and is an alumnus of the Hague Academy of International Law.
